In the first of a 2-part special series, David J. Conner and his colleagues provide an interesting dialogue about research methodologies in learning disabilities. We encourage everyone in our field to read these provocative and thoughtful articles on an area of special relevance today. A word of thanks goes to David Scanlon, who worked with the authors during his editorship of the LDQ. We also thank Dr. Connor and all the participants for their informative perspectives, and we urge readers to contact us with their views on this important topic. Stay tuned for the second part of the special series, coming this summer in 34:3.
